INSTITUTE FOR GLOBAL EDUCATION

Ban Ki-moon Institute for Global Education in Support of UNAI (IGE) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Ban Ki-moon Centre for Global Citizens (BKMC) on June 21, 2019 in Seoul, Republic of Korea.

This MOU states that the two institutes are in mutual cooperation and are affiliated with each other in joint programs and projects. Such joint programs and projects include collaborating on developing academic programs and courses on global citizenship, initiating relevant forums, developing scholarships, and exchanging fellowships.

A total of 7 individuals attended the event from both institutes. Jeffrey Choi and Monica Froehler represented the two entities, discussed, and exchanged the MOU presented.

Through this agreement, IGE and BKMC will further promote mutual cooperation to strengthen Global Citizenship Education (GCED) and to attain the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
